Financial Responsibility - Each player is responsible for fundraising (or direct payment) approximately $175 for uniform, tournament entry fees and team expenses. Each parent will provide transportation and if necessary lodging expenses for the event. (Historically, the team has fundraised and this $ has not been an out-of-pocket expense for the family, if contributing to the team fundraising efforts.)
Virginia Little League Division 5 Tournament Dates
*All games scheduled to be played at Rockwood Park in Chesterfield County
Dates will be posted as soon as they are finalized by D5 and Virginia Little League.
The tournament dates will run from June 12 through June 28 (weather permitting). Games will be played on weeknight evenings and weekends. Tournament winners will advance to state, regional and national level competition through August. Choosing eligibility to be considered for “D5” all stars is a commitment to being available to practice AND play until the team is eliminated, whether that be at the local level or the national level in August. Practices will begin approximately June 1 and run through a team’s elimination from competition.
"Invitational" all star tournaments are held later in the summer (likely July or even early August). These are local tournaments held at MLL or neighboring leagues that run 7-10 days. Tournament winners do not advance beyond local competitions.
